Birer ahjar …

… which means ‘Best Beers’ in Maltese. I tried three different Maltese beers during my stay in Malta with very mixed results. Cisk (pronounced ‘Chisk’) is the best-selling Maltese beer but I was very disappointed. No body or flavour. Only merits 2 stars on the basis that it was cold and I was thirsty.
